Going with the flow in London

Going with the flow in London

London is beautiful and definitely has a lots to see. I mean you will see a hop on hop off tour bus probably every so often, since I suppose there are so many land marks to see. So I decided to live the most authentic and iconic highlights of the city to catch amazing glimpses of both its culture and its history. As per my experience here come a special list of the best things you cannot miss once in London. Let’s begin!

Some of the things to see:

Big Ben. By day it is perfectly incorporated into the landscape of the Westminster district, but in the evening the real magic happens when the four faces of the clock light up! A historical landmark not to be missed!

Harrods shopping centre dates back to 1834, when Charles Henry Harrod opened a small grocery store. In 1848 the shop moved to its current location where, with time, it expanded with the purchase of premises and neighboring houses. The Harrods building complex offers a luxurious decoration with statues, fountains and richly adorned rooms. Of particular interest is the Egyptian hall and the memorial to Diana of Wales.

London Eye. The suggestive Ferris wheel in London (one of the highest in the world!), it’s also part of the classic London skyline and of the pierre. A ride on the London Eye Ferris wheel takes about 30 minutes, and the capsule cabins will take you to 135 meters in height. I personally didn’t go on this but I have walked the pierre around it and i can only imagine the view is spectacular from there.

Warner Bros Studio – for all your harry potters fan this is a must! Don’t think this is a kids only attraction! The Making of Harry Potter is a journey into the universe of the most famous movie boy wizard. Whether you are a HP fan (woe to lose an episode of the saga!) Or a parent (maybe you’ve promised your son a long time to bring it to Harry Potter Studios), a tour on the film sets of Warner Bros will not let you down

Tower Bridge  is another famous landmark to walk across. The Tower of London, a UNESCO heritage, is the emblem of British history of the eleventh century. From the residence of kings and queens, it has become one of the most visited London attractions; a tour of the jewels of the British Crown, crows, gallows and 21 towers.

Live performances. London is all about arts, theaters and shows! Just think about the fact this is the city of Shakespeare and many of his works took place here on stage! I really wanted to try something similar so I enjoyed the live performances, it reminds me of the Broadway shows in New York! I had a great time!

What I liked best about London.

Shopping! I enjoyed the variety of fashion. There are so many options, from small cute boutiques to my favourite designers. And of course there is Harrods, in which you can never go wrong.  Plus, I loved the cafes! They gave me all the feels! Vintage, unique, precious they were all so cutely decorated making my heart melt!

My best tip to explore and actually live London is to overall admiring the beauty of the buildings is always something to take in. Just take a walk around the London neighbourhood and you will learn the most authentic and precious side of this modern but yet enchanting city.
