About the Trip
The weather in Vancouver can be quite rainy. Hence I booked the trip to the Los Cabos Entry spontaneously. It was a stormy and cold day, and less than 24 hours I was in Los Cabos! Yes, very last minute.
The flight to Los Cabos was not too long, was about 4 hours. Since we wanted to explore the central town of San Lucas, we chose a non, all-inclusive resort, which was ME Cabo.
Location: Where I Stayed
ME Cabo is located on Medano Beach and is a walking distance. It’s a great location and gorgeous view. Along the beach, there are so many bars/restaurants that have great food and excellent customer care services with a great vibe.
I had a beautiful walk to the Marina and the central town in San Lucas. It was approximate 10-15 min walk to the central city, a few minute cab right (cost $8)
Here are some photos of the view from our hotel!
Vibe
Not such a relaxing vibe, there is a live DJ, so music is on all day starting from 12 pm on weekdays, and 10 am weekends. Their beachfront view is unbeatable, but the pool is a bit smaller than most resorts. I didn’t mind the music since the landscape was phenomenal.
Customer Service
For the most part, the staff was pretty friendly. However, there could be some room for improvement. Given that it was not an all-inclusive resort, and was quite expensive the service was lacking. The day we arrived the staff was very kind, and we even had a complimentary champagne bottle. We also received a complimentary breakfast with our stay.
Nevertheless, something was off every day either we got the wrong order, or they forgot to bring something. For the days we sat on a daybed at the beach, we noticed it took very long for a server to come and assist. One of the days, I was out in the balcony barefoot and stepped in some glass, and my foot bled quite a bit, and luckily I was able to get the glass out.
After that, we noticed our housekeeper broke an ashtray and did not clean the debris properly. The housekeeping failed to bring another ashtray. Aside from that, we were on vacation and made the best of it!

Eats: Restaurants!
Coast Restaurant,
This restaurant was less than a 2-minute walk from our hotel. It was my favorite eating joint on my trip! Overall the staff did an excellent job, provided excellent service, and exquisite food. The waiter brought out a plaque of the specials, and we decided what we wanted; from there, however, aside from that, we noticed we didn’t get a menu. We ordered fresh lobster and sea bass fish. We managed to eat the entire meal, and still had room for dessert that was made fresh in front of us! The restaurant had live music playing, which was the highlight of the night, they even came to our table and sang a song. This song was beautiful.
Gardein Tacos
Gardein Tacos was our first authentic taco stop. The tacos were great; we ordered lobster grilled tacos. It was a cute small location.
Lorenzillos
Amazing! Lorenzillos restaurant has been around for so long. They had a spectacular service, and the food was delicious. You must try the dessert!
Nightlife
On our second night, we decided to check out El Squid Ro. Their music was awesome. The place is so large with three storied building than the others. It’s great for food and some dancing.
Activities:
Sailboat Sunset Cruise.
This cruise was great; we went at 6 pm so that we could watch the sunset when it was not so hot. We also got to see the lovers arc which was a famous historical rock to view. This place was fabulous.
Side by Side Racing and Horseback riding tour.
This tour was great. We did 1 hour for each person, both were beginner tours, but we had loads of fun.
On arrival, we noted that camera/phones are not allowed. The sole reason is for you to pay for the pictures they take. Aside from that, having photos with a horse on the beach was surely worth it.
